You don’t have to live with a bad website.

Building a website is risky and it can be expensive, especially if you don’t know how. Many businesses get caught up in a process and technology they don’t completely understand and don’t know how to manage. The result is almost always a lot of frustration and expense.

What fewer people calculate is how much that time away from their business is costing.

A lot of people who need a new website are intimidated by cost. Yes, it’s very expensive to work on a website for months, make a lot of changes and then not launch. No, a well-designed website that works on mobile is not expensive relative to most marketing costs. A great website can cost less than one magazine ad. Many companies will spend much larger amounts on one-time advertising expenses like ads and sponsorships, but they won’t invest in the permanent real estate a website gives them.

Many companies used to run ads week in and week out in newspapers. It wasn’t uncommon for companies to spend much more on marketing today than they did before the internet became the dominant way people communicate and gather information on businesses. Many companies actually spend less today than they did 10 years ago, because there aren’t even as many newspapers and traditional places to advertise in anymore.
